Quiet book progress

This is the front page of Benny's book for his 2nd birthday. It is basically finished, save for the seaming, which is going to be simply dark blue.



What do you think?

Sewing on all that Velcro was really hard work, so I didn't do much else today, save some cooking and the usual household chores. But I am content. That's my agenda: creating beauty against the ugliness of the world.

It is felt that is sold in Din A4 format. This particular pattern was in a mixed bag of Bastelfilz that I bought at Pepco. Non-patterned felt I get in the craft shop or the one for sewing stuff.

Sewing on Velcro is most definitely hard and painful work. On the few occasions I've done it I ended up with sore finger ends for days.

Haha, the same here. Unfortunately, making a quiet book requires an ungodly amount of Velcro sewing.
