Time and again

Today was the bi-weekly cleaning again. Fortunately, we had leftovers in the freezer, so I didn't have to cook as well. Our lives are depressingly repetitive, but at least we are spared the negative excitements as well - unless you count the constant rising of prices.

I worked a bit on the cat plushies. I even wrote a few paragraphs. I talked to my friends Erna and Evie on the phone. Those are my blessings and I am very conscious to count them.

Ugh, cleaning! I had a day of cleaning on Friday, as we had a birthday celebration for our older son that night and it was a good reason to get the house tidied and shiny. We're just the two of us here, so I don't have to clean nearly as often as when we had the three children at home!

Quiet winter days here too... it's nice to have a bit of repetition, but not too much, as then it's boring:)

We're experiencing some large increases in our groceries. I've been taking care to buy things on sale and avoid full price unless it's absolutely needed.

I looked through some of your posts for photos of the cat plushies project but didn't find it — maybe I didn't look far enough. Well, they sound cute!
I did see the finished baby books — awesome! I love your crafting.

Good luck with the writing. I've signed up for a little challenge and am going to begin thinking of ideas for the story today. Soon the March pico will be here — I'm assuming you're willing to do one? And if you need an assistant I will be glad to lend a hand.

Congratulations and heartfelt hugs to your Mum and you in honor of the one year anniversary of your Mum's surgery. I can't believe that's been a year. And oh, my goodness, what a rough time that was for the two of you. And it's so wonderful that your Mum's recovered so wonderfully.

I'm trying to keep an eye on sales, too, but at the same time I'm trying to visit the crowded supermarkets as rarely as possible. *sigh*

There are no pics yet of the cat plushies; I'll make a group photo when all four are finished as the storage space of my iPad mini is getting overcrowded. They do look funny, though.

Yes, I'm ready and willing to do March pico, in the hope that my muses might become more active.

So true! Not much excitement these days. There´s only one thing that makes my heart begin to race each day, and that´s the constant rising of the prices for everything.

I think some routine is good. It's easy to get into a real slump otherwise I've found personally. A two person tidy is less strenuous too!
