Aka the day of St. John, the Evangelist. His has always been my favourite Gospel, and I always found his life history - legendary or not - very touching. "The pupil whom Jesus loved" - could there be any more moving description? Yes, I know I'm a sentimental old hag, but John has always been the closest to me, even though I never cared much for saints in general.

Ahem... yes. Otherwise, we had an uneventful day. We did some additional laundry, gave a friend called John a congratulatory phone call, ate leftover soup with cookies because our digestion was acting up again (why is it that we never get an upset stomach from cookies? I mean, I'm glad we don't, it's just odd!), I talked to my friend Evie on the phone re: grilled chicken, and we watched some telly.

The only productive part of the day was that I've finished chapter 19 of Timescapes and planned out the next part of the story, which I consider a great achievement.

Ugh @ the stomach issues.
Hope you'll feel better tomorrow.

At first I thought it would be a side effect of the vaccination, as I practically never had this problem before. Now I'm tending to believe that it must have something to do with stress — it started after Mum's accident, after all, which happened just a week before my first vaccination. Or it's the two things together, who knows in these days.

I hope your tummies are feeling better soon. I am surprised about your tolerance for biscuits too. The human body is a strange thing and, in my experience, gets stranger as we get older.

That´s strange. I also had stomach problems, but only when eating cookies. Contrary to you I do not tolerate sugar well. Maybe your problem is stress related? It must be hard on you to be mostly confined to your home, with next to no physical contact with your friends!

Stress is very likely. The whole thing started after Mum's accident, and I've been in constant stress ever since. That it happened just a week after my first jab might or might not be coincidence. *sigh*

I'm afraid that is very true.
