I took it easy today; aside from a food run and an (unsuccessful) trip to the bank, the only think I did today was making Topfenknödel for lunch.

I also decided to bake the last batch of biscuits tomorrow - only three different sorts because I'm a bit tired and want to box them in time, so that the recipients can fetch them before Christmas. I'm also planning to make a small selection for the blind lady who lives in the flat opposite ours. She won't be able to actually see them, but I'm sure she'll enjoy the flavour. And since I've already gifted boxes upon the other neighbours, I won't to leave her out.

I'm thinking of returning to writing when the baking session is over. The Christmas gift fics were a nice little exercise, but I really feel the need to write something more... substantial again. Now to decide which one of my never-ending WIPs looks the most promising.

Unsuccessful? That's too bad.

Annoying is the right word. Why they only need my credit card for one translation, my ID for the other one and an additional document for a simple money transfer of a ridiculously small amount is beyond me. 🤬

It sounds like the muse is knocking at the door! All the baking has re-charged her batteries :)

Rather a fantastic prompt given by a certain person that helped my Miss Marple story out of the deep hole it had fallen years ago. 😉

I'm sure your blind neighbour will adore your biscuits.

She's nothing if not grateful for small kindnesses, even though she can get on one's nerves sometimes.

It´s so generous of you to gift cookies to your neighbours, especially to the blind lady! What a pity she can´t see those works of art!

Well, she can certainly eat them, which is more important when it comes to cookies, right? *g*
