Behold the third batch of the GCBF! (*)

I've finished the third batch, which meant decorating the financiers, really.

Here are the results:



From the left:
1. The ruinous pecan-marshmallow cookies, discreetly covered in chocolate
2. Maple-pecan cookies
3. Princess Krapferln (coconut, marzipan and almonds)
4. Cookies with white chocolate, chopped almonds and pine nuts
5. Pecan-caramel cookies
6. Almond-orange financiers

Other than that, I mcgyvered together a small lunch (consisting of a frozen dish that I thawed out, a salad and some ruined cookies), wrote a few paragraphs to at least get another one of the Christmas gift fics started, did the laundry... and not much else.

They are good enough to eat, and that's what counts. Mum and I have eaten up a whole tray of ruined marshmallow cookies in two days... not a low-caloric diet! But from now on we'll eat sensibly again.
