WTF, Deamwidth?

wiseheartI've got used to the fact that the importer refused to import my journal comments every other week. After a few turns they came through, even if delayed, and since I imported my LJ on a weekly basis, it was only a matter of time.
But as from yesterday, the importer simply hasn't worked. I've gave it several tries, and each time I got error messages, telling me that it tried to connect to the server too many times. The odd part is, I can post and comment on DW just fine (although basically I only do so on the get_knitted comm), and the importer accepts my password, so what's the problem?
Considering that I use DW as a back-up, should something happen to LJ, at the moment I'm not feeling very optimistic...
