Thursday again?

wiseheartYou gotta be kidding me, people! Where has the week gone again?
At least today was well-used: I made cheesy buns, improvised some lunch and almost finished the first cat plushie. I'm quite certain that I'll made the rest of them differently to spare me a lot of work, but we'll see. I've cut out the bases of 3 more kitties, so I can experiment.
The things basically consist of two identical, oblong pieces of flannel and some thin felt applications, so I hope they won't be too complicated to make. I've made the vague pattern myself, and since I'm a lazy git, I made sure it would be an easy one. ;))
The intended recipients are children and grandchildren of my (ex-)colleagues: a three-year-old, two two-year-olds and a one-year-old boy. At least I hope the kitties will be finished by the time the boys reach aforementioned age. *g*
I also had a nice phone chat with (ex-)colleague Erica; it's always lovely to hear of my girls, even though they are busy and I have to hunt them down regularly myself.
As for the rapidly spreading panic concerning LJ (again); I for myself intend to stay there as long as humanly possible. But I'm an old hag and hate changes, so my opinion probably doesn't count.
