The new board

The Otherworlds discussion board is now all set up. By the Valar, it seems to actually work! I had a few difficulties with making the forums visible, but they seem to be okay now.

It's set in the Hobbies category, so it's not fanfic-only. The fandoms are so far: Tolkien, Other Fantasy Books, Vampire shows, Science Fiction and Action and Cop Shows.

There are also forums for books, movies, tv-shows and other stuff that won't fit into the given fandoms. There is a so-called Creative Corner for fanfic and original fiction links, artwork and the likes. And there is a forum for other interests, from sewing to gardening. I hope people will find it flexible enough.

I'm still tinkering with the details (like security measures and stuff), but hopefully, it'll all work out in the end.

I hope you'll find something you like. We could start a Lórien-related soap opera in the Fool's Corner and make it Members-only, so you could play Rúmil (or marry him). Or I can add a roleplaying forum for the same purpose. It's up to the members.

Oh, and I forgot to add: feel free to point out the forum to other Lórien Elf fanciers! The more the merrier! I think we could have some hilarious fun, even with the default PG-13 restrictions of InvisionFree. There is always purple prosa beyond comprehension, after all. *cackles evilly*
