Well, the popsicle houses are finished and I've promised a pic about the angels as well, haven't I? Here they are:

Admittedly, they are a bit rustical, but for first attempts they aren't that bad, I think. Today I made 6 more 'jewelled' snowflakes. There will be a picture when the remaining three are made as well.

Nothing else was done today - save for the laundry, the cooking and the likes. It was a surprisingly peaceful day.

They still need some refining, but I'm fairly content with them anyway.

The angels do look a bit clumsy but I don't really mind. :)

Oh my, aren"t those pretty! I tried to do the angels, too, but they look a bit on the well-nourished side, because I used one popsicle stick too many.

The same happened to me with the house on the right: 9 popsicles used, but 8 would have been enough. I've learned my lesson. 🙄

I love all of them — I think I might pinch the angels design for my Sunday Schoolers.

Be my guest! I did cheat a bit, though: I glued the sticks onto cardboard paper for more stability.

That sounds very sensible — thank you.

The houses are excellent, like mini log cabins! The angels are more "experimental". 😅

This (https://hu.pinterest.com/pin/341640321710310969/) is the original design, but I'm not skilled enough with the glue gun (=hopeless) to try the thing with the little wooden balls as heads. So I had to experiment. And at least mine have faces. And personality. 😜

Your ones sort of look a bit... naked. And I am really not sure about the placement of a crotch-spangle, on yours or the original designs.
Having said all that, your design is cute. Nude, with a crotch-spangle, but cute. The originals are creepy AF.

Sorry... I have a gutter-mind.

Well, I thought the fact that the faces and hands have a different colour than the clothes would help. Obviously, I was wrong. 😄

Next time I'll paint the sticks with acrylic paint first, though. Maybe they'll make a more delicate appearance that way.

I wondered how you were going to make angels with lolly sticks. Those are so cute! The little houses are lovely too. Rustic is what these kinds of crafts are all about.

My thoughts exactly. Since they're not meant to be sold professionally... And the kids at the charity Christmas fair (assuming we're gonna have one this year) won't mind, I think.

Oh they really are adorable, and rustic is a good word since the popsicle sticks are a little bit charming log-cabin-y!

They look great when painted, too, though, so next time I'll give it a try.
