Oh, dear...

We've accomplished the annual carpet cleaning ritual. Well, the usual bloke did the actual cleaning; I was scrubbing the oven door clean (which take me about an hour or more). It had reached a state that even I found unbearable, but it had to be screwed apart and then put back together again, which I didn't dare to try without technically savvy male back-up. But it's done now.

Book-cases have been re-filled. Tomorrow the china and crystal stuff goes back into the cupboard, and then, hopefully, we'll be done with the flat-licking for a while. *fingers crossed*

At least I've managed to transfer all New Who, Torchwood and Sarah Jane DVDs into the book cabinet in my bedroom. So an entire shelf in the small cabinet above my desk was freed up for craft supplies and small tools. Yay!

Edit: for some reason I can't read the comments either to my own entries or those of other people. I wonder if LJ is acting up or it is the iPad mini having a bad day. Either way, it is annoying.

I only have Nine and Ten on DVD, all of Torchwood, no Sarah Jane ...

I've got a great deal of Classic!Who as well. Not everything I'd like to have and some episodes in duplicate, too. So I could give away some if you'd like them.

We don't have any carpet in my house and everytime I hear someone talking about cleaning the carpets, I think we had a wonderful idea! ;-)
