I feel like baking

But it is way too hot for that. So, when I found this YouTube video, I thought it might be something one could make even if it's hot. Well... after watching it, I decided that it's a)too much work and b)frying things in hot oil is every bit as bad as switching on the oven. Too bad because the things look actually yummy.

Other than that, we were mostly lazy today. After Mum has attended to Mass on TV, we took a walk to the Lidl supermarket next door and bought a few food items. As last Sunday, Mum enjoyed pushing around the cart very much. As a result, I'll be cooking something with mushrooms and chicken breast filet tomorrow. I've got a few recipes saved; I'm gonna make the easiest one of them.

Tomorrow insulation work will restart. The calm days when one could leave the windows open will be over for a while. But they said to our neighbour that the plan is to make the balconies around Wednesday, so our very personal refugee camp might not exist much longer. *fingers crossed*

Hope the renovations go as planned! We seem to be moving out of winter and into an early spring here. (And after spring comes summer, my least favourite season. Already dreading it.)

They look yummy, but yeah, a lot of work. I'm not keen on frying anything, makes too much of a mess.

Yeah, same here. Plus, the fried things are always a bit too greasy for my taste.
