I was being crafty today again. Mostly because I was waiting for the mechanic from my Internet provider, and having hands and mind occupied made the waiting easier. In any case, I've finished Pages 2 and 3.

As you can see, these are mirroring pages, with similar, although not entirely identical waterfall cards, under which I. can put pictures of the baby, once it's there.

And here are two pictures of the inside of the waterfall cards:

Admittedly, the motifs aren't very baby-ish, but they fit I. (who's a sciences teacher and a dreamer) very much, and this will be a gift for her, not for the baby, after all.

Other than that, Mum's physiotherapist is back from her vacation and is very pleased with our progress. Also, the Internet correction has been fixed... hopefully.

The motifs are fabulous, really arty. I'd love that book and I'm no baby!

Stamperia scrapbook papers are absolutely wonderful. I'm glad the book finds your approval. :)

I'm wondering if it might work even better as a "toddler" book. In that once the kid is old enough to be interested in animals and nature, they would collaborate with their mother adding nature quest items to the book, such as leaves and pressed flowers or photos of the wee bairn interacting with animals or fossils or natural history items. Give it an "introduction to science and nature" slant.

Perhaps I'll do something like that, in years. But that will require a different design.

Thing is, it reminds me of my chum who does 30 days wild (https://childsplayabc.wordpress.com/30-days-wild-30-nature-related-activities/) journaling/questing with her little boy. Maybe you could branch out into making such journals in this style. It would be AWESOME!

Argh! Just realised my wording implies that the blog I linked to is my chum. It's just a random "30 days wild" person. (My chum facebooks her approach.) I just wanted to show a blog that describes the concept, but I get the impression there could be a gap here that a scrapbooking journal would fill perfectly!

Perhaps. I'll have to take another look when I'm not quite this brain dead.

Aren't they? I was so glad to find facing ones on the sheet, so that I could achieve the mirror effect!

I love those wolves, especially because wolves are not loved at all in our country.

They aren't loved in many places, the poor things, but I find these pictures simply amazing. And I. will like them, too. She's an avid animal lover.

Actually, I did explosion boxes in similar pattern: both vintage and steampunk. I just never got the chance to do a journal like that. One has to take the taste of the recipient under consideration. ;)
