I really should stop making plans

Because someone always interferes with them, dammit! First the cleaning frenzy rescheduled for three days earlier than usual, and now the physiotherapist told us that she will be able to come on Thursday, after all. Nothing against her coming, she's good for Mum, but Thursday was the day with nothing else to do, and I hoped that I could catch up a bit with everything that has been delayed.

Well, they will be delayed a little longer. Not a tragedy per se; I just so hate unfinished things. I wanted to do some more prep work for the popsicle project, but for that I need an undisturbed day. It seems I'll have to save the time for finishing "The Toreador Chronicles", after all. If I'm lucky, I can do so with the next scene (unless it spawns another one), and it doesn't even seem too rushed. It doesn't matter, though. Rushed or not, it will end before picowrimo's current session runs out, and that's final!

Other than that, I talked to my young ex-colleague Edith today and we tentatively agreed to get together in two weeks' time, when she's back from visiting her parents (who happen to live in a far-away corner of the country). I'm trying not to put up my hopes too high, as two weeks are a long time and a lot of sh*t can happen until then, but I do hope. God, how I do hope!

Never quit making plans, even if you think you won´t be able to bring them to fruition.. Not making plans means that we are getting too old for real life!
