I've promised a photo of the finished front cover design, haven't I? Well, here it is - with a few additional recipes that get stuck into the inner pockets.

Otherwise it's still very hot, although we had at the very least a bit of breeze in the morning, which made it slightly more endurable. Cooking was still an ordeal, though, even if all I did was to boil some frozen apple/cinnamon dumplings.

In July I'm going to take a crafting break, due to [livejournal.com profile] picowrimo. After that, I'll slowly start making preparations for the big Christmas project, which will be something alongside these and these. Alas, all my 60+ pieces of ice cream sticks are spoon-shaped, so some of the more elaborate designs are beyond my possibilities. Unless I give in and buy some craft sticks - which, honestly, would make the whole thing pointless. It's all about recycling, after all.

Cook Theo looks relieved that the cookbook got finished in time! And it has turned out so very pretty! I could help you with the ice cream sticks, not that I eat icecream myself, but I have the help of my grandchildren!

That is very kind of you, but I'm afraid the shipping would cost you a fortune. :(

Yay, congratulations! I love the cover. How many recipes are there altogether?

You're Christmas project looks like it will be fun, I'm sure you'll find a way to make the spoon-shaped sticks work.

Honestly, I haven't counted the recipes yet. But I will, and then I'll tell you. *g*

The spoon-shaped sticks will work like a charm as Christmas ornaments. I'm not so sure about the little houses, though, and those are the really cute things.

So do I. It looks quite simple, but I am sure the craft has its own traps.

The cookbook looks great! I like the idea of recipes in pockets, it's nice to be able to use them individually rather than always having the whole book in front of you.

Had no idea that popsicle sticks were so versatile. Some really nice projects there.

Congratulations on completing the Cookbook project 👏 👏!

Will there be a post showing all the recipes eventually? (And maybe translations?)

I can take a photo of the loose recipes, but some of them are glued into the book. As for translations, how about I first translate the recipes that come from my Granny? They're the best ones. Later on I might do the other ones, eventually.
