Four more pages made today. That means, eight more are left, plus the front cover. I'm making headway.

Here are pages 18 and 19:

And pages 20 & 21:

We also had social life today. My friend Evie came over to help taking the lace curtains down, as they'll need to be washed on Sunday. Monday the big window cleaning will take place, so we must have the curtains cleaned by then. Fortunately, we have Louise the Older (otherwise known as the washing machine) for the job, but the things need to soak for a full night before.

Evie brought us some fresh cherries from her garden, plus a jar of home-made strawberry jam and a bottle of self-made strawberry syrup. Too bad that we can't have any of them, due to a setback of stomach problems. Perhaps it's really a late side effect of Sputnik, but I'm fed up with it to the eyeteeth. *grrrr*

:) Are you going to be publishing the book once you're finished with it?

I'm okay. Lol. I've had to make the hard decision to give up pretty much all of the interests that sustain me emotionally as my fibro and M.E. get progressively worse. So I've turned to doing digital art on an iPad lately. Lol. Just been following those 'paint by steps' tutorials, but it's fun anyway.

How about you, other than for the cookbook?

I have to admit that I haven´t done anything constructive today. I admire your determination to finish this book as soon as possible. Sorry to hear about the stomach problems resurfacing. Can´t you take a test in the hospital, to see which sort of bug is ailing you?

Nah, it's the inherited family curse: getting a weak stomach as you get old. At least in Mum's case. I think in mine part of the problem was that I didn't have the heart to throw out all those nice, red (and extremely hard) apple peals while making Kompott and ate them instead. Stupid is as stupid does. I took an activated coal pill and it's already over. Of course, now I'll have to struggle with the other extreme for the next couple of day, but I brought it over myself all on my own.

Ah, sorry about the stomach thing.
Don't you think you should have it checked out after all these weeks?

Normal people go to the doctor when they are sick. Me, I get sick when I get even close to a doctor. *g*
Realistically, there simply isn't a doctor I would trust, and since having a weak stomach has been a problem in our family for at least three generations, I'm not particularly concerned. I just didn't expect it to catch up with me so early on.

You are getting closer in large steps! And i hope your stomach issues will resolve themselves soon, having that delicious food and being unable to eat it is cruel.

I'm still out of it with this cold, though at least I can (somewhat) speak again today.

The fun part is, before two bouts of stomach problems we're more or less all right and can eat normally. Then something (like eating all those hard apple peals in my case) sets it off again and the cycle starts anew. *sigh*

The retro feel is good. What today is called retro, were the really nice things made for kids in my youth, instead of the weird Japanese anime monsters today's kiddies grow up with.

Sorry about the stomach problem, not pleasant by any means. Theo's book is truly turning out nice.
