Sooo, my owl flock is complete

Other than that, I went to the bank and dealt with several issues there (the only task I hate even more than I hate housework), bought some more craft paper as a comfort method, did a food run, burned Apfelkompott by forgetting it on the heat (it's as close to burning water as it comes), presented Mum my paper collection, and the day was all but over.

We had a short, hefty shower today; fortunately, it was very short indeed and had no time to find any of the leaks of the balcony. Thank God for small favours.

Oh my, they’re adorable. I love them.
It’s been raining and raining, solid, heavy rain. I can’t even bring myself to go out for a short walk or to hang wet clothes in the carport. It is flooding down. I bought some new craft paper too. I spied some beautiful origami paper on eBay and couldn’t resist!

Actually, I can do much better with a fountain pen or a really thin felt tip pen. Acrylic pens aren't the best for this kind of decorative writing, but they are the only ones that show up on a dark background properly.

I worked in lower primary for almost a decade, so I had to keep my handwriting neat, for the little tykes to be able to read it.

Those owls are SO CUTE!! I had them pictured in my head entirely differently, so to see them all like that with their little messages on is just fantastic! The kids will absolutely love them!
