When I bake a cake it is always one with the centre jutting out like Mount Everest. Maybe yours wanted to be a caldera?

It was jutting out all right, only that the crust was broken in several places and the inside of the cake, well, to put it mildly, semi-liquid...

The parts that actually baked through were a bit dry, but we ate it anyway. ;)
