I really don't need this right now!

My life has been so full of excitement lately. Does the stupid PC have to freeze at least every other day? And when it does, I can't even restart it properly. I have to shut it down manually and restart the same way. Grrrrrrr!

I don't know if it's the renewed antivirus programme or if Outlook is acting up on its own, and I don't care. Whichever it is, it should stop, dammit!

I really don't demand a lot from life. But is it really too much to expect my main computer to work smoothly? *growl*

Otherwise not much happened today, as usual. I made a food run, we had a visit from the physiotherapist, we ate leftovers and watched re-runs of the GBBO. Alas. TLC took Cake Boss off their programme, at least temporarily.

On the plus side, I had two nice, long phone calls with my colleagues, which always brightens my day.

It is unsettling when they begin to act up and misbehave. I hope whichever programme is misbehaving calms down and does what it is supposed to do!

I panic whenever my laptop freezes. I have so much stuff on it that is not backed up because if I try to transfer it, it does strange things. I hope you manage to solve the problem soon.

I truly hope your computer is fixed soon. Always frustrating when things we take for granted malfunction.

We recently switched service providers and are now on fiber optic internet. Everything was going great, then dear husband announced yesterday that he could not get on the internet. His computer is not old, it is outdated, as he always buys the dinosaur model. The thing is a pain to work on when it has a problem, as it runs abominably slow, and my husband insists on standing over my shoulder to watch the repair progress. Did I mention, he has no patience? I worked on it for over 2 hours: restarting the modem, restarting his computer, checking connections, running diagnostics, to my wits end. What was weird was that his computer was the only Wifi device not working. After taking a coffee break and coming back to it, I found he had somehow checked a box to auto connect to our old modem, which no longer exists. A simple fix, but the last thing I would think to check — sigh.

I wouldn't call something busting all the time "excitement". Hulu has been turning itself off every 30 seconds or so and it's bugging the hell out of me, there are some shows on there I really like and can't get elsewhere. The problem isn't my computer, Netflix and Youtube, etc. are streaming just fine.

Well, there's excitement and there's excitement. The kind I've had lately it the kind I'd have gladly missed.
