Sometimes I wonder why I am still trying...

One read Alternate Caretaker and their only comment was if I like Voyager at all. Nah, I've written 16 chapters of AU fanfiction already because I hate it. Geez.

The other one read Kansas and instead of any comment on the story, challenged me in a review - to write a different story entirely. With recommendations for the story by another author who writes that sort of stuff the reviewer apparently wanted to read.

*shakes head*

Some people are really strange. Unfortunately, these are the ones who never grow tired to add their two cents. No matter who irrelevant those two cents are.

I swear, there are more people that got hit with a stupid stick than I ever imagined...I mean, I knew there were some, but...good grief!! Are they all in our corner of the Internet??

*facepalm*

I really don't know what it is with me and idiots. I seem to attract them magically. I got a lot of shit for my Tolkien fic as well - mostly from morons who know nothing about canon but feel their Holy Quest (TM) to correct my so-called mistakes. Geez, peoole, do your own homework before you pick on someone else's.

I think it's because this type of reviewer can't write so tries to bully authors to writing what they would if they could!

I can't read Kansas yet, because FF.net's playing up! However, I am determined to keep trying.

Yep, FF.net has beeen strange yesterday. So has Hotmail, for that matter. Why can't things simply work as they are supposed to?

Have you? Well, I'll wait to see if FF.net comes back up, and if it doesn't soon I have to go to Memory Alpha.

FF.net is back

... but you are always welcome to Memory Alpha. The people there are all for crossovers and AUs, although they are a rather silent bunch.
