Okay, so I've promised a picture of the Easter biscuits once they're decorated, right? Well, here they are:

Unfortunately, the chocolate chips I used for eyes proved a tad too large for the bunny heads, so the poor things acquired a somewhat bloodthirsty expression, especially those on the right side. We'll have to be careful when we try eating them - they might bite back! *g*

Other than that we overslept today, ate leftovers, and I did a teensy bit of paper embroidery. Oh, and I also dug out the notes to "Enterprise - The Maiden Voyage", which is overdue for an update. Not that I'd be able to write at the moment, but thinking about a different story than the ones I worked on (sometimes) during the last [livejournal.com profile] picowrimo session is liberating.

Bunny aler! That´s what I should have baked for Easter! Cassian, Xaver and Oscar are cookie-addicts!

Baking cookies is rather time-consuming, though.

Dark chocolate in the dough, white chocolate in the icing, coconut flakes and chopped pistachios in the decoration — what is there not to like? *g*

What a festive (and delicious) looking platter! Looking at it would put anyone in a good mood :)
Are you making a special meal for Easter as well?

Not really. We'll have the Easter ham, of course (with cumin and garlic) and the second attempt at the Eastern bread, but those are for breakfast and supper. Mum promised to make Sauerkrautauflauf — basically a layered dish of Sauerkraut and minced meat —, since that's something quickly and easily made and she wants to contribute at least a tiny bit to all the housework. That's something we can usually eat for two or three days, which is fine. The less cooking the better.

Well... cute isn't the word I'd use to describe them — unless you're really into killer rabbits. *g*

Add in a little red food coloring, and they can be the rabbit from Monty Python's Holy Grail.

English comedy movie, spoofs the King Arthur legends. I don't know if the humor translates.

I know about the movie but never saw it, so I didn't know there was a rabbit in it.

It's a classic, but pretty old. British comedy troupe Monty Python.

A bit too much character, I think. A few of them look like zombies. Now that would make the ultimate horror film: man-eating zombie rabbits!
