... aka The Imperial Egg. In other words: the beaded egg pattern without the beads - but with sequins.

I think the earlier one is more spectacular - if only I hadn't put on that gold cord around it. That was a bit of an overkill, I think.

Other than that, I cooked for the next three days in advance, put away the laundried clothes and we had a visit from the physiotherapist. Business as usual, fortunately.
