Still being lazy

Mum and I have been napping a lot today. Okay, I also cooked and finished my embroidered card and typed up the finished chapter to "Timescapes", but we were lazy nonetheless.

Picture from the finished card is coming up as soon as there'll be enough natural light for the iPad mini to take one.

Lunch was very yummy - Sauerbraten mit Semmelknödeln - and we'll have leftovers tomorrow when I'll have to go on a shopping spree and do things in town, so that's a blessing.

I'd love more such lazy days, even if they mean I fall asleep (repeatedly) in front of the telly during my favourite programmes.

Müssen wir vor dem Sommer auch noch einmal machen.

Wir mögen ihn auch sehr gern. Obwohl ich die Mogelversion vom "Kochduell" mache, mit Knödeln aus der Pappschachtel. Ich sehe nicht ein, warum ich zigmal soviel arbeiten sollte wenn es auch schnell und einfach geht. ;))

Wir nehmen auch immer Pfanni, aber der Sauerbraten ist selbst eingelegt und gemacht. 😁

Sauerbraten! Es ist ewig her, dass ich einen fabriziert habe. Mein Nachwuchs verweigerte das Gericht, als ich ihm erzählte, dass es früher aus Pferdefleisch gemacht wurde. Die Betonung lag zwar auf früher, hat aber nichts genützt. Ich wünsche noch viele entspannte Tage! Kann man immer gut brauchen!

Ich mache ihn aus geschnezelter Putenbrust — die Mogelversion die ich vom "Kochduell" gelernt habe, vor 20+ Jahren. Wenig Arbeit, schnelles Resultat, leckere Mahlzeit... und nich all zu viel Abwasch. Genau wie ich Kochen mag. *g*

Glad you had a good day! Red letter day for my family, my son got accepted into LSU law school — yay! He'd been waiting anxiously for the past 2 months worrying about whether he would make the cut.
