The Chariot Egg

wiseheart... is finally done. Take a look and tell me: does it look like the egg is riding a chariot or not? Yes, I know it was probably meant as a fancy egg holder but for me it is a chariot. So this is probably the pharaoh of all Easter eggs. *g*
In reality the two sides of the "chariot" are actually symmetrical. I just couldn't get enough light for the photo when standing right in front of it, so I had to turn the card to the side a bit. Also, I decided to use sequins again because they are more visible before the stitched background. I'd have preferred to stitch it on a lighter card but I only have these darker ones left and no chance to buy more paper at the moment, so they have to do, even if the yarn colours don't stand out as much as I'd like them to do.
Other than that, I did the weekly laundry (again, one day behind schedule), re-wrote a scene from the beginning and took care of Mum. With that, the day was over. No social contacts today whatsoever... unless the fact that I met the kids of the neighbours when taking out the rubbish bin counts. *sigh*
