And filled with work. Small, unremarkable tasks like washing up several times, shopping for groceries, fetch the eggs, clean up after yourself. Still, they eat up your entire day.

I had such a day today. But my arm feels better after having iced it several times, Mum is okay and I even had half an hour to pre-punch some more Easter cards. And another half an hour to transcribe something written yesterday. So I'm not complaining.

Those daily tasks can take up so much time.

Yeah, they never end. I've given up on the idea of being one step ahead of things. Nowadays I'm grateful when I'm just one step behind them.

I think that doing dull chores is all I do since the plague has begun to wreck my life. There are brighter days now and then, but mostly it's ploughing through domestic duties.

Ja, diese Tage erinnern mich an ungarische Volksmärchen in denen der arme Kerl sich durch einen riesigen Berg Brei fressen muß, um sein Ziel zu erreichen.

Sorry, other folks, I just can't phrase this in English...

So am I. I can't wait until it heals completely. *sigh*

So many mundane tasks, they all add up, and before you know it the day is done!

I'm glad icing your arm is helping, and that it feels better soon.

It does feel better. It looks better, too. It just takes forever to heal completely... or, at least, so it feels.

A dull day, after all the 'excitement' of the past few days, is definitely not a bad thing for you.

No, it isn't. Less washing up would be nice, though...
