Uneventful is good

I like uneventful days. As I had cooked in advance, the only housework I had to do today (save for the occasional washing-up) was to take down the dried clothes. Yay for some resting time! I don't even had to do the exercises with Mum today as the physiotherapist came and worked with her. I enjoyed my semi-lazy day immensely!

Because of this I had a bit of time to write and even half-finished the metallic egg card. All I have to figure out is the design of the middle part, which I'll do differently this time. But that will wait until tomorrow. Or the day after. I'm not on a tight schedule here.

Also, the physiotherapist took a look at my slightly reddened and swollen arm and told me not to worry and to ice it occasionally. So I put one of my cherry stone pillow into the freezer for an hour or so and used it to cool my arm. It worked like a charm! My arm is much less tender now and not half as hot. Yay!

Mum and I watched Buddy's Big Bake-down together. This time the teams I liked won. What else could I wish for? ;))

I nearly always like all the contestants on the competitive cooking shows I watch. I can only think of a couple I didn't like and really didn't want them to win because they were jerks.
