Hooray for Sputnik 2!

wiseheartGot my second jab today. Still no sign of sprouting excess hair or barking, so I guess I'm not about to turn into the space-faring dog Laika, after all. (For the very young among us, she was the first ever space traveller - sent up by the Russians somewhen in the 1950s or 1960s or whatnot.)
Other than that, I was on kitchen duty today. I cooked for the next two days in advance, which is fortunate because I haven't managed to do the weekly laundry as well, so that will have to be done tomorrow. Not having to cook on the same day is a relief.
No creative activities whatsoever today. All I did was to pre-pick the next stitched card. It will be a large egg that was originally supposed to be beaded but I think I'll go for metallic thread instead. We'll see.
