After 17 years, I had to change the address for my LJ mail today. I'm not pleased. I like things the way I'm used to them. Too old to switch to and fro all the time.

Other than that, not much happened today. Mum's stomach pills seem to work, so she finally could sleep and eat with an appetite. Fingers crossed that it stays that way. All that not-sleeping is catching up with her, though, she's more tired than she was before. But I hope that will settle, too.

Tomorrow we'll have a toned-down version of the monthly cleaning frenzy. It promises to be... interesting. But our cleaning lady is flexible and besides, I'll help, too, as always. That way they'll (hopefully) not run into each other with the physiotherapist. *g*

Also, [livejournal.com profile] picowrimo starts tomorrow. If you're interested, take a look, even if you aren't planning to participate. We need readers, too; especially the kind that fires the writers on. :)

I've had my email address since I started out on the internet, I'd be upset to loose it as well.

Not to mention the bothersome task of changing it everywhere it counts. :(

Sounds like you're going to have a busy day. At least it's two different faces to talk to.

Sometimes I am glad that I have three email addresses, each for a special task. So if one would get closed down there´d be not that much shifting to do. I hope the monthly cleaning frenzy went well and did not bother your mum too much!

My e-mail addresses were specialized as well. Unfortunately, the one that got shut down was also the one selected for all my official mail — banks, insurance companies, government contacts and the likes.

Mum actually enjoyed the cleaning frenzy. She likes our cleaning lady.

Hope both you and Mum are now able to catch up on sleep. Sorry about your email change. I have quite a few. They tend to clog with spam and adverts, so some I intentionally ditch and start anew. Still a pain, I don't envy you.

It was such a good, reliable e-mail, too. Their filter worked like a charm, I hardly ever got any spam messages as they got filtered out at the server or whatnot already... I'm so angry about the whole thing!
