And not a bad one as bland days go. The physiotherapist was here and gave Mum a thorough work-out, so she's quite tired now, the poor thing. Still, she managed to eat her soup and mashed potatoes and a tiny piece of sponge cake afterwards, which I call success.

I managed to do a bit of seaming and talked to three different friends plus to Little Emma's Grandma on the phone. I also watched some telly and solved some crossword puzzles in-between Mum duty. Then we watched Cake Boss together.

Bland days are definitely good!

Edit: I've just got spam mail from myself again, trying to blackmail me into paying bitcoin to some idiot. Unfortunately for them, said address will cease to exist next Monday...

As you can see in the edited version, I did get some excitement after all. Bleh. Spammers. Hate them with the intensity of a thousand burning suns!

Indeed. They are seriously under-estimated!

Good to see your Mum is eating better and that you both had a better day today. I feel for you re: spam. I switched telephone service recently and the annoying calls have increased. So frustrating.

A bland day is a good day, in my book, but sewing is always an adventure. Your Mum sounds to be doing so well.

I finally got our family doctor on the phone and she prescribed something against the heartburn. I hope it will help.

So good that your mum has started eating more regularly! And yes, rejoice, because bland days are always good ones, at least for those who are snowed under with responsibilities, as you are!

Bland days are a blessing. They make me almost feel as if things were normal.
