Winter Wonderland in small packages
Jan. 14th, 2021 09:20 pmMeaning that we had snow last night again. Then the sun came out and the wind came up and it was gone by the evening again.
Of course, I had to go out in the morning when the half-thawed snow made an ungodly mess on the walkways, so my enthusiasm towards snow was... moderate, to put it mildly. And when I learned the in the pharmacy that the pills against osteoporosis they were supposed to order for Mum from their central depot weren't available, my enthusiasm went down another several notches.
At least the eggsies arrived today and I could fetch them from school. And since I had to leave the house anyway, I did the weekend shopping a day earlier and bought Mum's birthday present. so the morning wasn't wasted entirely. I was seriously doubted to buy myself another craft puncher - one that punches tags - but talked myself out of it. The few tags I need from time to time I can make by hand, and the puncher had the size of a small pony, so... Still, I was tempted.
After a long time I found roast hake (I mean the fish) in one of the food shops again, so we had a very nice lunch. And I've worked a bit on the hen-and-chickens page. Hopefully, it will be finished tomorrow. I also did a bit of transcribing for Chapter 15 of "Timescapes".
All in all, it was a full day if a bit frustrating at some points, the best part of it being that I got to see my girls again. I'm looking forward to not going anywhere for at least four days, though.

Not only could we visit each other on a whim, they also automatically filter out all viruses and bacteria and other harmful stuff before you re-materialize - wouldn't that be a practical thing right now?
