1. I've posted the last part of "Elvenhome" to AO3, which is a relief.

2. I went to school to order my eggsies and met a lot of beloved ex-colleagues. Yay for social life!

3. I made Chicken and terragon pie. Look:

And yes, watching "Paul Hollywood's Pies and Puds" has everything to do with it, although this isn't one of his recipes.

Cooking it was a bit time-consuming, so I decided to take the rest of the day off. Tomorrow is another day. Unfortunately I've completely forgotten the very important thing I had planned for tomorrow. That's old age for you. I'll probably remember again when Saturday is over, spent with insignificant little things. *sigh*

I have Elvenholme bookmarked now that it is all there - I can see a day well spent ahead of me reading it in the near future.

The pie looks really good - it has inspired me to add chicken and leek pie to the menu in the near future as I have some leeks in and chicken in the freezer.

That looks like a perfect bit of pastry on the top, there. I am salivating as I write.

Thanks. Making pastry is always a chance thing. You can never know if the dratted dough will cooperate.

Weeeelll, pretty or not, we did eat it. Even though it took us two days. This is a rich dish, you can't eat much of it in one seating.
