Back to the old routine

Mum decided that we should have another cleaning frenzy today and summoned our cleaning lady. The cleaning lady came almost an hour later than usual, due to traffic, which meant that the morning was completely wasted. Sometimes I really have the feeling that we live to serve this dratted flat. *sigh*

At least we didn't have to cook together. Long live the leftovers! In the early afternoon I managed to write a little, almost finishing the upcoming chapter of "Timescapes", which is a relief. I had phone chats with two friends... and that was it, basically. I'm actually looking forward to tomorrow's food run, even if it's gonna rain. Experiencing something different will be a relief.

BTW: I apologize for lagging behind with the comments. I'm trying to catch up with my backlog, but the different time zones don't make it easy.

There are certain dishes that are much better when warmed up for a second or third time. Coleslaw casserole and thick soups, for example.

That's true ... every morning I have tons of entries from all the people west of me ... *sigh*
