It is Christmas Eve, which is the actual feast over here, so I'd like to invite you to our virtual coffee table. Behold my biscuit spread for 2020 (with the exception of the pistachio wreaths that I forgot to add to the display, but we won't mention that, right?):

At the end count there were 26 different sorts - including the diabetic ones made for a friend's husband. Even after giving away the bigger part to seven different families, there'll be enough to sample for weeks. *g*

Thanks. Actually, I had a brief period of depression at Christmas Eve; all the things that were lost this Christmas (markets, concerts, meeting friends, etc.) came up, plus Mum took offence at a completely harmless comment (she's a jewel, most of the time, but when she feels slighted - which in this case she was not - she can be bitchy), and then the disappointment when I went out to the balcony and there was no pine scent... I felt cheated out of Christmas.

Yes, I know it was stupid, but I felt really, really down.
