Since one makes the first corrections and adjustments while typing up hand-written stuff and all that. In that spirit I did a lot of writing today - I typed up the almost six pages that I wrote two days ago. It took me some effort because I felt rather lazy after having cooked all morning, but I'm glad now that I did it.

“I don’t like this,” Trevor muttered. “I’ve never been in a UNIT facility that would have been so tightly watched; and I worked for them for more than a year after Canary Wharf.”

“Stop fidgeting,” Lloyd warned him. “You’ll just make everyone suspicious. Look at Ms Smith; she’s cool as a cucumber.”

Sarah Jane grinned at them encouragingly. “I’m a journalist and an ex-companion. Sneaking into secret UNIT lab s is an old hat for me.”

Before and after the heroic feat I had nice, long phone chats with my friends Erica and Elise, respectively, made another matchbox gift box for the Advent calendar and hunted down some more videos from the zoo Hagenbeck on YouTube, since the channel they show them is pixellated beyond endurance in the afternoon. It's not so bad in the morning, so it must be the satellite moving into a disadvantageous position or whatnot.

I also watched Paul Hollywood's City Bakes and River Monsters - these are the objects of regular enjoyment in the evening, as there is nothing else of interest on the telly.

Thinking of it, I really consume too much television in these days. But the sad truth is, my brain just isn't up to more intellectual activities. Considering how much I used to read when I was a decade or two younger, it is a shame, honestly. I only read for research nowadays. And fanfic.
