I realized I was getting way too lazy...
Oct. 27th, 2020 11:27 pm... so I heroically walked to the Auchan supermarket today.
It's only two tram stops from our building, but the way leads through a wide open area that enables me to wrestle my agoraphobia into obedience from time to time. The weather was warm and sunny, so I actually enjoyed the excursion - a lot more than sharing the tram wagon with a bunch of idiots that don't seem to understand that a mask is supposed to cover their noses as well.
Of course I had to take the tram on my way back; I had three heavy bags with me and would have collapsed halfway if I tried to walk home as well. Fortunately, it was at a time when most people either work, or cook their lunch or actually eat their lunch, so the tram was sparsely populated.
Auchan is in a small shopping centre where are some shops that sell stationery and craft supplies, too. I found a lovely package of handmade paper: 10 small sheets of black and white paper, some of them embossed, the others decorated with glitter patterns. There is even a small bag of embellishments! And the whole thing was ridiculously cheap, about 70-80 cents altogether. Not that I'd need even more craft paper, but I so love to find new patterns!
I talked to my friend Evie in the afternoon, though, and it seems that we might go to the craft supply depot on Friday, with her car. Of course all sorts of things can happen until Friday, so I'm trying to to look forward too much to it, but still, it would be nice. We are planning to go at the same "dead" time of the day to avoid crowds and rush hour - not that I'd ever seen more than three people at the same time in that depot, but better safe than sorry, right?
Evie has never been there before and I want to find some more motif punchers, so let's hope we can actually make the trip.
