wiseheartAll right, folks, I've promised you pictures of the other drawstring bags, right? I wanted to finish them first, but my friend Evie couldn't hop over with the actual drawstrings this week, so I thought I'd show the little bags as they are. Imagine that they have the drawstrings already. *g*
Then I decided to give Mary Berry's cherry cake a try. I'm quite content with the outcome, even though I only had one 100gr-box of glacé cherries instead of the required 200gr. You hardly ever get them here, this last box was from our latest visit to Vienna almost a year ago. But I simply cut them into smaller pieces to get them everywhere in the cake.
Sorry for the slightly blurred image, illumination wasn't ideal, and perhaps this brown glass cake holder wasn't the best thing to put the cake on, for the lack of contrast. But it's a family heirloom (belonged to my great-grandmother) and I wanted to use it once again.
At least the cake is very yummy, and it looks a lot better in real life, I swear.
