When other people waste your time...

We had our monthly appointment with the chiropodist lady today. She does nice work, but she's always late and, for some weird reason, she seems incapable of working and talking at the same time. And she talks a lot. God, does she talk a lot! The appointment ate up the entire morning, despite the fact that she comes to the house, and Mum's still having an almost-headache from all that talking.

Also the internet was down for more than 12 hours, starting last night around 11pm. Apparently, there was some central glitch that took Vodafone this long to repair. As I don't have a smartphone or mobile internet on my iPad, I depend on this one connection and let me tell you, I wasn't happy. *sigh*

To end the entry with something positive (=very important!), I've written the scene I needed to insert into Chapter 16 of "Magic Mirror" and started writing Chapter 18. Now that all the holes are filled up, I might return to some more linear writing. *fingers crossed*
