One step forth, two steps back

I've just realized that the last scene for Chapter 14 I wrote yesterday won't fit the timeline. Drat! I had to remove it and insert it into Chapter 18 or whatnot, and now I not only have to write a different final scene to Chapter 14, I'll also have to insert an additional scene into Chapter 16, or else the whole thing won't make logical sense. Gah, I hate it when this happens!

In other news, it's still hot over here, I'm covered with horribly itching insect bites, and Mum finds new and creative ways to produce additional housework. Otherwise everything is just peachy. *Grrrrr!*

Thanks. It's so annoying when you think you've finally finished something, and then it turns out you haven't.
Of course, I've also forgotten adding the washing powder for today's laundry, so that Louise-the-washing-machine had a useless empty run, so my brain is probably addled by the heat. *sigh*

Hmm, I thought the sewing machine was Louise? Scratches head. Sucks about the heat, the writing, and the laundry. I do crazy things like that all the time.
