Sometimes things aren't as bad as we think

Originally, I planned to make my food runs really early, because of the heat. So I got up at ungodly 6.30am (ungodly for me, at least) and went to Aldi and Lidl, buying food for half a week. Then Mum realized that we haven't paid the insuration rate, and the deadline is on August 2. Meaning that I had to go to the Savoy Park shopping centre, where the nearest post office is. Which opens at 9 o'clock, when the heat is at full power already.

I was not happy. But since I'd done the grocery shopping already, I wasn't burdened with bags and stuff and could go to the various shops that sell craft supplies. And, as my luck was, KIK had them on sale. So I bought these darlings, some of them for half price:



There are sticker sets, self-adhesive craft papers and patterned tapes, textile flowers, small decorative stones and a lot more. It took me half the afternoon to sort them and pack them away. *g*

Coming home, I took an extended nap, then I wrote another scene to Chapter 17 - and most of the day was over. Still, I'm very content with my achievements.

It does. And it sells XXL-sized clothes, which is why I get much of my stuff from them.
