Mondays can be busy, too

The weather cleared up a bit today, but fortunately not so much that we'd keel over from heat, so I felt inspired to work a bit more on my pot holders (that prove way more work-intensive than I originally thought) and on Chapter 16 of "Magic Mirror"

I was successful in both points. One of the pot holders only needs seaming (which is a godawful batch of work in itself, though), and the other one isn't too far from that state, either. And I finally managed to cobble together the MM AU version of Uther Pendragon's death in a manner that isn't too far from Merlin canon yet still very different in its effect on the characters (especially as Bradley James's Arthur is currently in the Camelot reality, so he doesn't even know about the events of "The Wicked Day").

Sounds complicated? It is. I hope I'll manage to go back and finish Chapter 14, soon. That is one complicated problem, on which I still have much thinking to do.

Other than that, it was a quiet day. I finally came around to send the necessary personal data to the book-keeper lady, so I might actually get paid for the children's adventure book that I've recently translated from German into Hungarian. We ate leftovers because we didn't feel like cooking, and I spoke to two colleagues on the phone. So, it was nice and more or less relaxing relaxing, which is good, as tomorrow is hunting day. ;)

It is good that you got the break from the crazy weather. We have our usual winter here - very mild and temperate by northern standards, 7-9 degrees Celsius. Today I actually hope to leave the house, for some overdue exercise. I hope you get paid for your translation soon. Your language skills are wonderful.
