I've finished Chapter 13 of "Magic Mirror", having finally put together the dratted fight scene that caused me so much headache in recent days. I also added a few paragraphs to Chapter 15. Chapter 14 is still only half-written - I have to come up with a major twist as the canon version of "The Wicked Day" (4th season Merlin episode) just wouldn't work within this crossover. *sigh*

I also made one single window-pocket to the shabby chic journal and selected some fabric for even more cherry stone pillows as I strongly suspect that the two pillow-cases I've prepared won't be enough. Oh, and I cooked lunch. That's about what my day looked like.

And now we are crossing our fingers that the winds that came up don't damage our satellite dish and only bring quiet rains, since the balcony still hasn't been fixed. *sigh*

I think I've only ever written one true fight scene...since lost to the eathernet. I found it very difficult too.

It is particularly hard because I don't have the vocabulary for it. Not in English. So I need to look up some similar scene first, pick out the words that I need and then write the scene in a way that would not remind the one I used as a template, or else I'd be accused of plagiarism. *sigh*

True, true. It doesn't happen all the time, but at least I've learned to value it when it does.
