So, [livejournal.com profile] picowrimo has started yesterday and I've set aside my craft projects (as I've got nothing that would have a particular deadline) to focus on my writing. I'm making fairly good headway with Magic Mirror: 12 chapter are already finished, chapters 13 and 14 partly written. Four of the already existing chapters are posted to AO3 (re-checked and a bit revised here and there compared with the FF.Net version), and I really hope that the current pico session will help me forward a good chunk of the way.

Other than that, I went to school today to order next month's eggsies; only 20 this time, as the weather isn't good for baking: way too hot. Currently we're having bright sunshine and steady rain, at the same time. Back in Transylvania we used to say for such odd weather that "the devil is beating his wife". No idea what the connection might be, but it's funny.

There is no such thing as too hot for baking in our house! 😁

There is in our concrete monstrosity that's battered by hot sunshine all day.

Please will you send some heat my way? I had the central heating turned on yesterday.

I wish I could! The bad thing is, there is no real transition between too hot and too cold. Temperatures drop or rise 10-12 degrees (Celsius) from one day to another.

Heh, the devil must beat his wife a lot here! Good to see you are productive in your writing. Stay cool.
