Got Mum out of the house!
Jun. 15th, 2020 06:21 pmFor the first time in 3.5 months - and only to take her to the dentist. Poor dear had her remaining two upper front teeth pulled. Fortunately, it went well, without any problems. She says the worst part was the injection of the painkiller. I'm glad it is over, she was very anxious about it.
Me, I didn't get my teeth done. Some instrument or other broke down, but the dentist lady X-rayed my problem teeth and I got three (!) appointments for getting the dratted teeth dealt with. And I so hoped that she'd repair at least one broken filling today. Ah, well, it isn't so as if I had anything else to do in the foreseeable future.
With that, half the day was over already. We ate leftovers (surprise, surprise!) and then collapsed in front of our respective tellies. Mum chatted with a couple of friends and I fell asleep... after writing half a scene for "Magic Mirror".
And that's it, basically. Tomorrow is hunting day, so I'll have to go to bed earlier. Therefore I'll watch "Money for Nothing" at 9pm instead of midnight. Such is the life of retired old hags. It is a good life, though. I have no complaints.
