Today was hunting day... with slowly falling rain. Only enough to make the umbrella wet, which I had to carry in an extra bag coming home. Fun, fun, fun.

Somewhat later our cleaning lady came to clean the windows. Barely was she done, it started raining again. Speak about all the work in vain. Ah, well, at least the promised storm didn't come. Yet. I hope it will stay away. I don't really mind the rain, as long as it doesn't hit the leak in the balcony wall, but storms usually do that. *sigh*

So, what else? We spent the rest of the day with returning the flat to its usual configuration (on big cleaning days everything has to be moved and piled atop each other, so that the corners, etc, can be reached). How lovely - NOT!

Then, in the afternoon the exterminator was supposed to come, as they do every third months, to keep the flat bug free. Only that they didn't come. Neither did they bother to phone and tell us that they won't be coming. Mum was royally pissed, because that meant we had to empty special parts of the bath, the kitchen and the toilet for nothing.

Other than that, it was a delightful day...

It's not the cleaning that is particularly big (although we only have the windows cleaned twice a year), it's the flat that is too small. And we have way too much stuff in it, both furniture and smaller things.

Isn't it typical that it rains as soon as the windows are cleaned??? Murphy's Law!!!

You have to do what you have to do. There's no way around it. Fortunately, there's always tomorrow!
