End of the week positivity...
Mar. 29th, 2020 07:03 pm... to borrow the tile from
sallymn. ;))
Well, the day didn't start very positively: I forgot that we were switching to daylight saving time or whatever it's called and didn't set my alarm clock accordingly. At 8:30 Mum woke me, asking if I wasn't going to watch Mass on the telly with her - it was half an hour after my intended wake-up time. Which is bad, because I need at least 50 minutes to go through my morning routine and wake up completely. Not a morning person, obviously.
Mass was a lot less enjoyable than last week; it seemed to go on and on and on, and the organist wasn't on top, either. But we valiantly stood awake during the ceremony. *g*
Afterwards, I cut out some miniature clothes for the doll house inhabitants; will have to finish them tomorrow. I just wasn't in the mood. Instead, I made this:

An apple-walnut tart, with some raisins. Quick and easy and yummy. I also cooked lunch today, so I guess I was productive enough nonetheless.
In the afternoon, I talked on the phone to three different (ex-)colleagues, which did me a wealth of good. Not meeting people at all is hard on me. I mean, I've been sitting at home a lot since my retirement, but there were three or four choir practices a week when I had similarly-minded company, and I miss that a lot.
Otherwise we still seem to be well, thank God. I hope we'll be able to continue that way.
