Self-motivation at its finest
Mar. 23rd, 2020 10:44 pmI've promised myself that if I finish the Doll House quiet book this week, I'll be allowed to make another bunny like the one on the left, just in white (and pink). If that isn't proper motivation, I don't know what is.

In other news, I went out into the big, dangerous world together - this time not for food but because we're running out of shampoo, shower gel, paper towels for the kitchen and the likes. Also, I had to go to the pharmacy for some cold medicine; my cold comes and goes in waves all winter every year, and it won't stop just because there is competition. Fortunately, I got everything except aspirin Brausetabletten, so I'm more or less armed against the lesser evil.
It's so annoying; while I rarely pick up germs from other people, the slightest draft is enough for the stupid cold to rear its ugly head again. This year I've been fortunate so far: I only had one strong bout of coughing and sore throat in early January (about two weeks of it) and have been mostly well. Of course, a bit of cough and a sore throat didn't matter before - it's practically a way of life for me every winter. But now one gets easier frightened.
So, we're well cared for all our needs, which means I won't leave the house for another three days or so. Writing and crafting ahead!
