This is the right side of the laundry room. Two pictures, to show both the ironing board and the mannequin in use.

The design has changed a lot, compared with my original idea, due to necessities (I wanted a birdcage standing on a small desk of drawers, for one, but I couldn't find one that would fit in size); nonetheless, I'm pleased with the outcome.

Next step: seaming the pages. I spent a frantic half hour looking for the rips ribbon I'd bought for this express purpose today morning. I was ready to give up on it and simply seam the whole thing with blanket stitch when the ribbon finally showed up. It will be much more work this way, but it will look a lot better.

Wow - what fiddly work.
How is the dress fastened on the mannequin?

It isn't. two pieces of felt stick together... for a while, at least.

Thanks. I'll be opening a bottle of champagne once it's done, though. *g*

It's because it is so tiny and I have sausage fingers. *g*

It is not a quick fix, for sure. But I still enjoy making it, so it's okay. :)

Having sausage fingers is a serious disadvantage by crafting. I should have picked up construction work as a hobby. Well, too late for that, I guess-

Dexterity does help with crafts. The lucky ones have it. Me, not so much.

I haven't even heard of them until last year, but you're right, they are great.
