Aka, the right side of the kitchen. I've finished it yesterday, but there wasn't enough light to make a photo - not even such a lopsided one as the one below. As always, the blue-ish stuff is actually white - my iPad mini had its stubborn day again, and no amount of editing could reinstate the actual colour. *sigh*

I also realized that one of the dolls I made in advance would be way too large for a 18cmx18cm page and its applications, so I had to re-make it at a somewhat smaller size. After that, I went on to struggle the round door of the washing machine (for the household room) into obedience, which was a difficult task... to put it mildly. Then I got brand new ideas how I should redesign the household room, which means a lot more work than originally planned, but I think it will look better that way - if I can figure out how to make a folding ironing table out of felt, for one thing. And a mannequin doll for the background.

Other than that, we went with Mum to the Savoy Park shopping centre and dealt with issues regarding the post office and the bank and did some shopping. We bought some Berliner for lunch and got home just in time for me to run off to choir practice again.

We had Berliner today as well ... such a typical thing to eat during the carnival season, isn't it?

Yes, indeed, although this was the first (and probably last) time in this season that we had them. As there's only the two of us, frying a whole batch would be the overkill, meaning that we'd have to eat stone hard, stale Berliner for a week, and somehow we haven't managed to get to the Auchan supermarket until today. They make very yummy Berliner, and they have them on sale during carnival season. With apricot jam! Yummy!

Very addictive and time-consuming, though. Still, I enjoy making them greatly.
