My second quiet book page
Sep. 11th, 2019 07:20 pmI call it sea bottom page, and it's also been made following the tutorial of Sviatlana Babylina.
This is the original
And this is my version:

The background is actually a much lighter blue, but my iPad mini was acting up again. So I put the pic through the photo editor to lighten the colours, which resulted in this:

Not much better, I'm afraid. The blues are closer to the actual colour, but everything else is faded out (like the gold start that became white in this), and you still can't really see that the upmost part is in reality white striped with light blue. So I tried the autocorrect of the photo editor, and got this:

I think I still like the original best, despite the too dark blues.
Also, I wanted to apologize for not commenting all that much lately. I've been in a somewhat unhappy headspace due to my current inability to write anything worth sh*t. Crafting is a welcome distraction, as it enables me to create beauty with a few scraps of felt and accessoires, but it's just an excuse for the lack of writing, I'm afraid.
I've been re-reading my ten-year-old stuff on
otherworlds_lib, or rather the lovely comments of my fellow antigwennites (the Torchwood fandom is the most loyal and supportive one in cyberspace), hoping that it would help me through my gloomy mood. So far nor results. *sigh*

Date: 2019-09-12 07:59 am (UTC)I actually prefer your version of the page. It has more detail to entertain for longer and does not have any little lumps that could be broken off and caught in a child's windpipe.

Date: 2019-09-12 07:50 pm (UTC)I wish I had some advice for writers block but I don't. Although with creative work I find that if I force myself to do something I generally loosen up and get into the groove.
