I turned my normal schedule upside down because of the heat today. I decided to work at my main PC in the morning hours, while I still have some working brain cells. I had to type up the meagre two pages I'd managed to write this week to Chapter 32 of Kansas 2, plus I transcribed some more quiet book page tutorials. Now the sun is over the zenith and starts pounding down on our side of the house, so I'm considering shutting down the PC and falling in a coma.

So, no working on the remaining doughnut keyrings so far. I'm not sure I'll do so later on. We'll see.

Edit: I did finish two keyrings in the afternoon, after all, because I felt guilty for not doing anything. Now two more left, and then I can switch projects again. *fingers crossed*

Wow. Hopefully you don't burst into flames over there. :(

How hot is it in Budapest?
It's been 30° here today and I hurried up with the house cleaning, so I was done by 1 p.m.

I hope that you will be able to find some coolness to function in before the coma finds you.

Those temperatures are fairly normal for our summers. It's just so that I'm getting older and taking them harder. *sigh*

It was 32°C today and they "promised" 34 for the entire next week.

The way to survive is to stop doing anything involving movement around 1 o'clock and don't move again until 7pm. Unfortunately, one can hardly do that.

I wouldn't be able to deal, that's for sure.

It's hard sometimes, but it's always a matter of what you're used to. After half a century with such summers one learns to endure them - even if it's growing less easy with each additional year. It's part of the aging process, I guess.

I hear you on the weather. Those are 100% cotton days for us - the fabric that breathes!

Yeah, but it has been my experience that not everything breathes that has 100% cotton on the label. I think some factories simply lie.
