A short break from uniformity

wiseheartI met one of my colleagues today. She took me to the Transit Art Café, which was an interesting experience. It reminded me of the small café/bookshop thingie we visited with ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
altariel and the_wild_iris when Mum and I were in Cambridge for a few days. Without the books, unfortunately, and a bit more pricely than it would be reasonable, but interesting nonetheless.
I'll have to take Mum there, as it's unlikely that we'll ever get to Cambridge again.
Other than that, I've finished another little mermaid (photo later). There's only one more left to do, and an experimental Santa, before I'll try my hand on the CD recycling project.
There should be more writing, really, but I got up so groggy that I somehow managed to waste the entire morning. *sigh*
